LINZI FENIX

Vocal range:C3 to A♯6/B♭6 (belt to F5)

Instruments: concert pianist

A multi-faceted performer, Linzi Fenix is an award-winning actress and singer. As a classically trained stage actor whose performances have garnered critical acclaim, she received her BFA in theatre performance from Fordham College at Lincoln Center, paid for by the scholarship she won in The Miss America Organization.

Linzi considered herself the "ditziest nerd" during her school years, skipping grades, qualifying for high IQ societies, and graduating Summa Cum Laude with a double major in journalism and minor in computer science as their youngest graduate.

While in New York, she also trained with the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Off-Broadway Atlantic Theater Company and performed improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade, where she is an alumnus.

A dual citizen of the US and EU, Linzi found her talents in the theatre at a very young age, appearing in her first equity show at six years old. She built an onstage career spanning from Mark Schoenfeld's "Brooklyn: The Musical" on Broadway to Shakespeare in the Park to lead roles in Lincoln Center's Obie award-winning "Laughing Pictures," multiple off-Broadway shows, on tour, and around the nation with the League of Resident Theatres (LORT).

From her achievements in musical theatre to her work as a stunt actress, her journey in the entertainment industry is marked by a unique physicality, which is also due to her background training as a black belt martial artist, competitive skier, sub-four-hour marathoner, and pilot.

Her understanding of humanity brings depth and complexity to her performances, which has earned her accolades throughout her career. She received the Best Actress in a Musical Spotlight Award twice for Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" and Eponine in "Les Misérables". She has also been recognized for her singing talents, being awarded the Gospel Female Vocalist of the Year winner with the Country Music Association, leading vocals for the Boston Pops, and performing at venues such as Carnegie Hall to main stage theaters in Las Vegas as both a singer and pianist.

Further to acting, Linzi has a dedicated background in charity work supporting non-profit organizations, including Children's Miracle Network, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and initiatives supporting people experiencing homelessness.

Born in England, in the 7th hour, of the 7th day, in the 7th month, in the rebellious 1970’s, Smith is primarily: a critically acclaimed poet; a multi award-winning verse playwright; a critically acclaimed actor/director/producer; a festival-winning filmmaker; a composer and musician; a legal scholar; and, a successful business entrepreneur working professionally in the entertainment industry for over thirty years.

From the age of five until fifteen, Smith trained to be a professional tennis player - beating Britain’s future Men’s Number 1 in straight sets at the age of thirteen. Wimbledon was in his sights… Injury at the age of fifteen may have subsequently set him on a different path, but Ryan never lost the champion’s mindset: one of vision, dedication, positivity, iron-clad resilience and, above all else, an extraordinary work ethic.

Receiving a full scholarship from the E.U., Smith read Theatre Studies at Trinity College, Dublin. During his studies he was also awarded a scholarship from Trinity as the highest achieving student in his year.

After Trinity, Ryan quickly evolved to become a multi award-winning verse playwright/director/producer/actor via his own theatre company. Having now written over 3,300 Shakespearean sonnets, along with 7 verse plays, Smith has firmly established himself as a uniquely dedicated, internationally acclaimed, award-winning poet.

“Smith… the most prolific - and crucially, experienced verse-drama writer in the UK”  -Fringe Review, June 2, 2024

Ryan graduated from law school with a Master’s Degree in Law, awarded with distinction. He has a particular focus and interest in Medical Law and Ethics; Contract Law; EU Law, and Criminal Law. Smith is a very strong advocate of civil liberties, freedom of speech, and bodily autonomy.Alongside Yoga and Tai Chi,
